Is this mic working?

At least two classes that I am taking this semester in the Masters program at Texas Tech require a blog for professional research and reflection on teaching. Although I will not be able to start teaching until I complete 18 hours of graduate courses, I will be learning how to teach beginning composition. I have created this space to fulfill the professional/educational requirement of keeping a record of observations on what I will learn. I hope it will also show my development as a teacher, as a professional and as an academic.
